Product overviewMeldin® 4000 is Omniseal Solutions' line of PAI (polyamide-imide) based compounds. Individual grades in the 4000 series differ by formulation to provide specific combinations of thermal stability, mechanical strength and wear performance. Meldin® 4000 materials are supplied primarily as injection-molding grades capable of meeting tight dimensional tolerances; limited prototype shapes are also available.
Key properties- Mechanical strength retained at elevated temperatures
- High fatigue resistance under cyclical stress (preserved tensile and flexural properties)
- Excellent wear resistance and durability in abrasive or harsh environments
- Chemical compatibility with many fluids (e.g., fuels and oils)
- Self-lubricating behaviour and dimensional stability in aggressive chemical environments
Standard specifications (summary)Materials: Polyamide-imide (PAI) — engineered for low wear under high load
