Description

Product overview
The ONA IRIS 10 is a die-sinking (sinker) EDM machine engineered for large workpieces and high-intensity erosion processes. Its integrated connectivity and advanced graphic simulation tools enable process validation and error reduction before machining.

Benefits of ONA IRIS Technology
  • Highly rigid mechanical structure in stabilized fine-grained cast iron with graphite, supporting workpieces up to 25,000 kg.
  • Reinforced C axis for stable erosion with high-moment electrodes (approx. 12,000 kg/cm²).
  • Direct position feedback via linear scales with 0.1 µm resolution for precise positioning.
  • High-power generator (up to 30% more powerful than standard market units), capable of delivering up to 400 A for intensive erosion.
  • Advanced CNC control: up to 8 interpolating axes simultaneously and volumetric compensation across the full working volume.
