Product overviewRotating stainless-steel scanner probes are designed to operate with Evident rotating scanners for in-hole inspection of fastener holes in aircraft fuselage, pylons and similar aerospace structures. Manufactured with stainless-steel tips and a fixed-diameter housing, these probes provide mechanical durability for repeated insertion and rotation inside fastener holes. Scanner required for operation.
Advantages- Wear‑resistant stainless-steel tip for extended service life in hole inspection.
- Three-coil contact arrangement: one driver and two pickups for differential reflection measurement.
- Enhanced sensitivity to small surface and near-surface cracks.
- Reduced lift-off sensitivity for more stable readings in variable contact conditions.
- Powerlink™ technology for reliable signal transfer.
Metric SizeThe SEU series is fitted with a 4‑Pin Fischer connector. Probes are fabricated from stainless steel, supplied at fixed diameters and feature a bell-shaped backshell to aid insertion and removal from the scanner. Coils are of reflection differential type, operating in the 200 kHz to 3 MHz range. Suitable for aluminum structures and low-conductivity materials. (Scanner required; available in metric sizes.)
Imperial SizeThe Imperial series is fitted with a 4‑Pin LEMO connector. (Scanner required; available in imperial sizes.)
