Description

Overview This V-shaped metal face seal provides high flange lift-off capability, reduced bolt load requirements and pressure-activated sealing behavior. It is suitable for applications requiring low clamping loads and elevated temperature resistance.

Customization These metal seals can be supplied with a range of surface finishes, platings and coating options (including soft platings or thin coatings) to optimize leakage performance and compatibility with mating flanges.

PFAS-Free By its nature, this component is PFAS-Free*. *PFAS-Free here means no intentional addition of PFAS substances during manufacture; traces cannot be excluded due to environmental contamination.

Seal Function & Motion — Springback V-Seals are designed for high springback and operate as low-load seals. Their low load enables effective tightness when combined with soft platings or coatings that improve conformity to the flange surface.

Seal Function & Motion — Design Key design parameters should be reviewed during seal selection. There is a direct relationship between seal outer diameter (OD) and free height: larger free heights provide increased resilience and more consistent performance.
