Description

Product overview
This specially designed metal boss seal conforms to hydraulic standard AS5202 (SAE) and is intended for aerospace port fittings. It offers a reliable metal-to-metal sealing alternative to elastomer O-rings that may fail under extreme temperatures, pressures or aggressive environments, while improving installation speed, weight and in-service performance.

Technology advantages
  • Ease of installation: integrated seal geometry fits port fittings and can be installed rapidly without special tools or precision machining, reducing assembly time.
  • Reduced weight: formed high-strength materials (Inconel variants) provide significant weight savings versus machined competitors, supporting fuel-efficiency and mass-reduction targets in aerospace systems.

Design options
  • Symmetrical design for direct installation on the port thread.
  • Positioning on the tube section using a jacket tail to locate the seal on the fitting sleeve.
