Overview
Vertical carousels provide an efficient storage solution for cable drums, enabling rapid, easy retrieval. Systeo Industrie offers several motorised ranges of cable drum racks designed for rubber, wire and cable drums.

Storage applications
Our systems accommodate multiple drum types: rubber, wire and cable drums, for storage-only or for unrolling/cutting directly from the carousel.

Storage method
Drums are placed in dedicated racks (free-rolling or fixed). They may be suspended on a full-width axle; for heavier drums the axle is mounted on the drive chain. Alternatively, drums can hang side by side from a supporting girder sized to the load. Cumulative weight defines the maximum usable length.

Loading / Unloading
Multiple handling solutions are available: manual or battery-powered loaders, stackers, mobile trucks, etc., selected to match site constraints and drum characteristics.

Three product ranges according to maximum drum diameter. Max. diameter: 950 mm. Height: 3 to 6 m. Total length: 2 to 6.5 m. Linear speed: up to 4–6 m/min. Control modes: press-and-hold or automated (PLC options). Power supply: 220 V or 380 V – 0.5 kW to 1.5 kW. Standard specifications may vary by configuration.
