Description

Enclosed cockpit comfort for all-season flying. The 1600R Sport starts with the proven 1100R airframe, and includes a fully enclosed tilt-over canopy, curved turtledeck, streamlined cowl and spinner. Add a 40HP 2 cylinder engine and you'll have a great performing, great looking aircraft that you can fly comfortably all year long. The 1600R Sport also has a "convertible" option: The fully-enclosed canopy can be quickly replaced with an open tilt-up windshield for fun warm weather flying. You can buy a complete kit or spread the cost out by building one sub-kit at a time. If you start with the basic 1100R Mini-Max you can upgrade to the 1600R at any time by adding the Sport components.
